As the leading European trade fair for monument preservation, restoration and renovation of old buildings, denkmal in Leipzig has been combining tradition, innovation and vision together with its strong partners since 1994. Market leaders, established companies and exciting newcomers will continue to set new impulses for the future of the industry with numerous product premieres in 2022. Among other things, innovative key technologies on the topics of pollutant degradation and safety in monument protection, novel solutions for doors and floors, groundbreaking processes for glass, solar and cleaning, new dye solutions and dyes as well as forward-looking solar goggs as a discreet alternative to classic solar modules will be shown.
Visitors can expect from the 24th to the 26th. November a variety of exciting product premieres, innovations and solutions from a wide variety of areas of the industry as world, Germany or trade fair premieres.
Highly innovative key technologies for pollutant removal and safety
Often, renovation is hardly possible in listed buildings due to organic indoor air pollution. Here, Lynatox shows a special trade fair novelty as a renovation alternative with innovative and temporary air purifiers. FrimTec introduces its IntelligentMonitoringSystem to the trade audience. The highly innovative system is used to remotely monitor crack movements, temperature and humidity on buildings outdoors and indoors.
Novel solutions for doors and floors
RP Technik presents an extension of its rp fineline design series for monument-compliant renovations. Now the Westphalian specialist for steel profile systems also has a two-leaf steel-glass door with a very narrow cuff area in its program. With the trade fair premiere of Schüco International KG, the thermally separated steel system Janisol Arte 2.0 is now also available as a door with extremely narrow view widths and excellent performance values. Previously only manufactured as window and fixed glazing, Arte 2.0 can now also be installed as CE-certified doors for outdoor and interior use as well as window doors. The R. Brunner AG presents its Historical Protector fire protection system at denkmal. This makes it possible to upgrade historically valuable doors to the classification EI30/60 required by fire protection regulations.
As its German premiere, Ventano shows its 12 mm thick cement tiles, which enable transition-free interfaces to other floor coverings. In addition, lockable historical window handles and historical protective fittings are presented. With another trade fair premiere, the S. Fischbacher Living GmbH. For floors that cannot be preserved, with the antique collection Horse, it offers a hand-aged herringbone parquet made of solid oak wood in various shades.
Forward-looking processes for solar, glass and cleaning
Nelskamp offers a special world premiere at this year’s monument with the Nelskamp G10 S PV solar brick. The developed G10 S PV element ensures a permanent power supply for homes or large objects. Aesthetically, inconspicuously and efficiently, the brick is already available and is already installed as a solar brick on many roofs.
Sollingglas Bau und Veredelungs GmbH & Co. KG relies on sustainability with a newly developed process, which it presents for the first time as a German premiere at denkmal: recycling of flat glass and mouth-blown real antique glass. The process makes it possible to realize glazing with old original glass that meets today’s requirements and thereby preserve the character of historical buildings.
The company Remmers is represented with another German premiere. One of its highlights is the product AC Marble, a novel all-rounder for repairing marble surfaces. For the environmentally friendly cleaning of culturally and historically valuable buildings, the company has two products in its luggage: the self-vulcanizing cleaning paste Arte Mundit for interior wall surfaces and the Clean Galena, which has been awarded by the BAKA for the environmentally friendly cleaning of natural stone facades without water use.
Innovative dye solutions and dyes
Kremer Pigmente presents its new solvent dye solutions as its world premiere. These are dissolved in methoxypropanol PM with a concentration of 4.4 percent and can be used for transparent printing inks, as wood stain, for dyeing solvent-based paints, impression compounds, epoxy and polyester resins, oil varnishes and similar applications. Another new product allows dyeing with the historic color Indigo.
