The double Olympic champion and hotelier from Oberwiesenthal chats “up close” from his life on Sunday in a cozy atmosphere.
On the 20th November, the most successful ski jumper from Oberwiesenthal, Jens Weißflog, will be a guest at the Klaffenbach water castle. Moderated by Kai Suttner, he gives personal insights into his very varied life in “up close! – the talk show”.
Jens Weißflog is a legend: He was Olympic champion in 1984, he was double Olympic champion in 1994, he won a total of four times the German-Austrian Four Hills Tournament – in short: Jens Weißflog was the best ski jumper Germany, East and West and united, ever had. He was not only successful in parallel style and later in V-style, but also had to adapt to a new political system when the GDR athlete became the ski jumper of a united Germany.
