【DE】HOLIDAY AHEAD: THE TOURISM & CARAVANING 2022

The Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig 2022 opens from the 16th to the 20th. November their doors at the Leipzig Trade Fair. If you are looking for holiday inspiration, you will find a great variety of tourism, caravanning, outdoor and cuisine in four halls. Whether on holiday in the mountains and on the beach, on four or two wheels around the world – everyone will find what they are looking for at TC Leipzig.

Visitors can get a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in caravanning – from compact campervans to luxury liners – in Halls 3 and 5. Information and advice on renting campers, caravans, camping buses and the like can also be found here. And if you want to find out about life, working and holidays in the campervan with experienced campers, you will meet experts from the scene in the Vans & Friends living room on all five days of the fair.

 

Manufacturers, dealers and consulting experts from the Czech Republic and Germany present novelties from the bicycle sector in Hall 4 and inform about the latest equipment, clothing and accessories as well as bicycle carriers. In addition, you can purchase the right clothing and accessories for the next hike. In addition, bicycles of all formats and price range are on offer here – from folding and folding bikes to road bikes and road bikes to e-bikes, urban bikes, mountain bikes and cargo bikes. These can be tried out and tested in the bicycle course. There is also a course for the little trade fair guests where they can practice braking and keeping the balance.

 

Numerous national and international destinations, organizers and accommodation are available at TC for personal conversations. In the Saxony area, numerous regional associations from the Free State and the neighboring federal states present themselves. The stage program offers exciting lectures and travel reports, including the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT), which will take place on the 18th. November makes a stop on the TC. The “New Face of Adventure” of the EOFT is presented: the Ultra Runner Timothy Olson from Wisconsin, USA. In the GPS forum, you will also learn everything about handling, route planning and routing functions of a global positioning system.

 

On the pleasure trip in the glass hall, special oils, spices, cheese and meat specialties, spirits and many other delicacies from regional and international producers await the trade fair visitors. On a large market square of delicacies, you will find both local and international products to taste. The long table, framed by restaurateurs and food trucks, offers space to linger and taste, for nice conversations and holiday planning.

 

Central Germany’s most important travel fair has been taking place at the Leipzig exhibition center since 1990 and has been organized by Messe Stuttgart since 2018. TC 2022 is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The GenussReise opens at 9.30 a.m. Tickets are preferably available online, the special lunch ticket on Thursday and Friday from seven euros. For children and adolescents up to and including 15 years of age, admission accompanied by an adult is free of charge.
