【DE】 The Bremen classic car fair: From the smallest crane to the noble unique piece

Buy and be amazed at Zweiradbörse and Classic Custom Motorcycle Lounge

At the 21st Edition of the Bremen Classic Motorshow at MESSE BREMEN from Friday to Sunday, 3rd to 5th February 2023, the organizers rely on the tried and tested and innovation: the two-wheeler exchange for sale and the Classic Custom Motorcycle Lounge to marvel at.

The two-wheeler exchange of the classic fair has been offering the all-round carefree package in Bremen for years for dealers and private individuals who want to part with mobile bases. The sellers get the chance to hand over their bicycles, scooters and motorcycles into loyal hands – without having to wait for potential buyers at the stand.

Anyone who registers and gets a place at the two-wheeler exchange will already hand over their vehicle to motorcycle specialist and collector Thomas Beneke at the Bremen Classic Motorshow on Thursday, February 2, 2023. This checks the vehicle, can name the data and the desired price and then take care of the sale. The owners are free, can simply enjoy the fair and get the trade handled by Beneke. If buyers find themselves, of course.

It can also be something younger

However, the vehicles offered must have at least 30 years on their back and be able to drive. “We would like to gather everything here – from 50 to 1000 cubic meters and more. Plus bicycles. That’s why we are not too dogmatic about old age,” says Frank Ruge, project manager of the Bremen Classic Motorshow at MESSE BREMEN. “We’ll talk to each other if there are good reasons. Because the diversity of the offer is important to us. But 20 years is the absolute minimum for the vehicles.”

The Bremen Classic Motorshow therefore deliberately keeps the financial hurdles for the consignors very low. Despite the limited space available, you only pay 25 euros per two-wheeler on display. The highlight: The fee also includes the admission to the fair for every three days. The sale plus trade fair visit on all days of the fair is therefore even cheaper than admission alone.

Unique and creative

With the Classic Custom Motorcycle Lounge in the stylish Hall of Mirrors, on the other hand, the Bremen trade fair makers tie in directly to the time before the corona pandemic. With the exhibition of highly individualized bikes, the organizers in 2020 addressed a younger audience in 2020. The concept, including a styled ambience and music, was well received. That’s why it will be further developed this year.

There are hardly any requirements for the exhibits. Only the frame of the bike must be 30 years old. The following applies to everything else: What is fun is allowed! There are no limits to ingenuity. Guests can look forward to slimmed-down cafe racers, fat tires, deep sofas, live music and cold drinks with like-minded people. In 2023, due to the pandemic break, there will now be the second edition of this exhibition in the stylish and stylish hall of mirrors of the ÖVB.

The Bremen Classic Motorshow will take place from Friday to Sunday, 3rd to 5th. February 2023, in the ÖVB Arena, in all seven halls of MESSE BREMEN as well as in another hall on the outdoor area, which will be built especially for the fair. The halls are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Further information below or at www.classicmotorshow.de

ATTENTION: Regular visitors to the classic car fair know the Park+Ride service including ticket sales at the Airport car park. This offer will no longer exist next year. Parking spaces are still available in the multi-storey car park. However, tickets for the fair and also the combination of parking and tram tickets are no longer offered.

If you want to go directly to the fair as a guest with your own vehicle, you should definitely inform yourself about parking facilities and the traffic situation before visiting the website www.classicmotorshow.de. Experience has shown that the parking spaces directly in front of the exhibition center are occupied very quickly, the traffic around is stalling sharply. The relaxed journey to the exhibition center is therefore best achieved by public transport.
