【DE】Messe Augsburg continues to rely on regionality in catering

From the beginning of 2023, the tabledeckers will take over the catering at Messeplatz: the regional company, which operates three restaurants, a catering service and a cooking school, will take care of the physical well-being at Messe Augsburg from the new year.

With the table deckers, Messeplatz will have a professional gastronomy service partner from January 2023, who has managed to convince Messe Augsburg of itself with a convincing offer. The table deckers score with fine cuisine and a team that has decades of experience in excellent restaurants. In addition, there is unique service and passion for their own business – two points that they have in common with Messe Augsburg. All together makes it an excellent partner for trade fairs and other events.

Bavarian-Swabian specialties for international trade fair guests

Another advantage of the table deckers is the regionality to which they attach great importance, combined with the quality that distinguishes them – regional delicacies, modernized and brought to the table under the name Bavarian-Swabian tapas by excellent chefs. In addition, there are international specialties that have been carefully selected and “bayed in”. Messe Augsburg will also offer this special feature to its trade fair customers and guests in the future. Together with the fair, the tabledeckers also start directly at the first events in the new year: Visitors and exhibitors from near and far can then convince themselves of their quality.

Lorenz A. Rau, Managing Director of Messe Augsburg: “With the table covers, we have found a catering partner who knows how to perfectly meet our requirements and those of our customers. The quality and service orientation of our new partner, combined with his unique concept, have convinced us from the very beginning. We look forward to the upcoming cooperation!”

Toni Ludwig, owner of the Tafeldecker: “We are pleased that we can expand our portfolio once again – and have found a partner with Messe Augsburg who is not only as regionally rooted as we are, but with whom we can spoil regional and international visitors with passion and experience with culinary delights.”

About The Table Cover:

Since 2016, “Die Tafeldecker” has been available in the Fuggerei, the oldest social settlement in the world. In 2020, the hop garden followed at the Bürgersaal in Stadtbergen, and since March 2022 the Tafeldecker has also been available at the Golfclub Augsburg in Burgwalden. In addition, they are available to their customers as professional catering service providers and run a cooking school in which they pass on their competence and experience to inquisitive gourmets. In this way, the table deckers give Augsburg gastronomy a new, extraordinary taste note.
