INTERNORGA – trend forge, source of ideas and meeting place for the entire out-of-home market – opens from the 10th to the 14th. March 2023 again their goals. Under the motto #allezusammen, the leading international trade fair will once again offer solutions, valuable inspiration and networking opportunities for the industry characterized by many challenges. In addition to proven areas, the fair, whose first halls are already fully booked, also relies on new concepts – such as the INTERNORGA Open Stage, which is to act as a forum and initiator. In addition, trend topics such as digitization and packaging & delivery receive larger exhibition areas and thus complement the proven theme worlds of INTERNORGA.

“Gastronomy, hotels, bakeries and pastry shops face unexpected challenges in view of the numerous pressing questions of our time,” notes Claudia Johannsen, Business Unit Manager at Hamburg Messe und Congress. “But the industry is coming together – and we, as a partner of the entire out-of-home market, offer a unique platform for this. At INTERNORGA 2023, our guests can discover solutions and products that can support and advance gastronomy and the hotel industry as well as the baking industry in this difficult time and give the perspective.”

Successful trend areas will continue in 2023

From start-ups to global corporations – as the most important industry meeting, INTERNORGA not only unites all segments for the out-of-home market under one roof, but also offers ambitious newcomers as well as large players the place to present their latest products and solutions. Well-known and new national and international brands are included. In the popular Newcomers Area, young concepts that combine entrepreneurial spirit and visions of the future find their own home.

“In view of the positive feedback from all participants, we are pleased to further expand our trend areas such as digital applications or the Craft Spirit Lounge next year,” says Matthias Balz, project manager INTERNORGA. With a view to the reusable law applicable from 2023, the Packaging & Delivery sector will also become particularly important and show the trade audience suitable solutions.

INTERNORGA brings #all together

INTERNORGA has always been a partner of the large hospitality family. This is especially true in challenging times like these. In 2023, the fair will once again be the platform for trends, news and networks and enable the exchange among like-minded people and experts at a high level. Next year, the fair will focus on innovative concepts: There will be a new meeting place and discussion forum for all newcomers and sustainability topics. The new INTERNORGA Open Stage becomes a hub for current topics and insights that move the industry. It enables targeted transfer of know-how from the industry for the industry in order to meet the ubiquitous challenges with adequate solutions.

In addition, INTERNORGA creates numerous other opportunities for dialogue in an inspiring atmosphere: The Café Future Live is considered a relaxed retreat or ideal meeting place to maintain contacts, where, in addition to culinary tastings, changing specialist lectures await guests. Inspiration and impulses are provided by the central magnet for visitors, the Pink Cube.

Awards and success congresses complete the program

Whether international food service forum or industry day of community gastronomy – INTERNORGA will once again be the platform for the largest and most important brainfood and networking events in the industry next year. The fact that the fair also functions as a trend barometer and career booster for young talents in gastronomy and the hotel industry is proven by the awards, which will be awarded again in 2023: The Next Chef Award is considered a springboard for young chefs. Under the patronage of celebrity chef Johann Lafer, they cook for the coveted award. The INTERNORGA Future Award honors visionaries who set new standards for the industry with sustainable and innovative ideas. The German Gastro Founder’s Award is awarded by the industry network Leaders Club together with INTERNORGA and orderbird to promising gastro concepts and thus enables founders to start successfully.

Claudia Johannsen looks forward to the upcoming event: “Preparations for INTERNORGA 2023 are in full swing. The first halls are almost fully booked. This shows that INTERNORGA is perceived as an indispensable industry highlight of the out-of-home market. We are particularly pleased that exhibiting companies that were not represented in 2022 due to the pandemic have also announced their participation for the coming year. In addition, we are looking forward to numerous exciting start-ups and young innovative concepts.”
