A holistic offer around the tent industry will be STRUCTURES INTERNATIONAL, the new internationally oriented business platform for temporary buildings, industrial, storage and event tents, from 08 to 10. November at Messe Dortmund. The new leading European trade fair shows “everything under one roof” for temporary room solutions for the first time. In addition, a variety of equipment components, accessories and service offers from national and international providers will round off the trade fair portfolio.
Dortmund – STRUCTURES INTERNATIONAL, Europe’s new leading trade fair for the tent industry, celebrates from 08. to 10. November 2022 at Messe Dortmund. In addition to well-known industry sizes for tent construction, containers and roofing such as Röder Zelt und Veranstaltungsservice, HTS Tentique, HR-Structure, Oostdam Flexzelt International, Eurostrechtents Deutschland, Skyliner and Stadur Productions GmbH, special and specialist companies for the equipment are also presenting extensively. Some world firsts in the industry are particularly eagerly awaited, which will be presented to a broad public for the first time in the density of a trade fair.
The importance of the tent industry has increased sharply for many industries in the recent past. Whether, for example, in logistics to increase storage capacities or for municipalities, institutions and social institutions that had to meet their high demand for mobile accommodation and more storage space in the event of severe weather disasters and to cope with the refugee problem. With the newly initiated trade fair STRUCTURES INTERNATIONAL, Messe Dortmund is compactly bringing together all trades of European tent construction in one place for the first time,” Sabine Loos, head of trade fair and managing director of the Westfalenhallen group of companies, is looking forward to the upcoming premiere. Especially for the logistics industry, the trade fair city of Dortmund is the ideal meeting place. Because the largest city in the Ruhr metropolitan region, with 760 companies and 25,000 employees, is itself an important logistics location in the largest contiguous economic area in the EU. Proximity to the Benelux countries is also of central importance, as many manufacturing companies and suppliers to the tent industry are located there. Not least as an official partner of the IFOY Award, which is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, Messe Dortmund stands out with high expertise for internationally important event formats in logistics,” adds Loos.
Kuno Neumeier, Managing Director of the Logivest Group and spokesman for the Logistics Real Estate section of the Federal Association of Logistics (BVL), also emphasizes the importance of the new trade fair: “The corona pandemic, the Ukraine war, rising energy costs and staff shortages have led to significant disruptions to global supply chains. The result of this is an increased stockpiling and the sudden increase in storage areas. Temporary buildings can be a cost-effective and above all flexible alternative for warehouse and production for interception of bearing peaks and with a temporarily higher space requirement and can also be used at locations abroad!”
Temporary room solutions are key solution providers for numerous industries. The international trade exhibition STRUCTURE INTERNATIONAL, which will take place for the first time, therefore receive a lot of attention right at its premiere in Dortmund. The strong presence of numerous global players as well as service-providing or stimulating companies from the European environment, who will present themselves at the trade fair premiere, shows how much such a trade fair format has been missing so far,” says the joyful preview of Peter Stumpf, editor-in-chief of the trade magazine “zeltundco, the ideal partner of STRUCTURES INTERNATIONAL
