The Supervisory Board of Messe Berlin and Martin Ecknig have agreed on the termination of his contract as Chairman of the Management Board. The acting chairmanship of the management is now taken over by CFO Dirk Hoffmann. The Personnel and Presidential Committee has been commissioned by the Supervisory Board to immediately initiate proceedings for the replacement of the position of CEO of Messe Berlin.

Martin Ecknig has been Managing Director of Messe Berlin GmbH since January 2021.
