The internet platform BOBY is an offer of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs and was initiated by the Alliance for Strong Vocational Education and Training in Bavaria. BOBY offers a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of career orientation and training in Bavaria and networks with the numerous offers of the alliance partners from business and administration.
BOBY is primarily aimed at young people, but parents, teachers and companies are also addressed with topic-specific focuses. In addition to easy-to-understand basic knowledge of successful career choice, pupils receive background information and practical tips – for example, about application procedures and job interviews. Parents learn, among other things, how to accompany and support their children on their way to their dream job. For companies, the page provides information on what is crucial for successful trainee acquisition today. Teachers can also use BOBY for career orientation lessons.
In addition to current news, BOBY also offers a free Bavarian-wide event calendar for many vocational training campaigns, for example information events and regional training fairs.
