From 14th to 17th February 2023, BIOFACH, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food, opens its doors in Nuremberg, parallel to VIVANESS, International Trade Fair for Natural Cosmetics. After the unique Summer Edition at the end of July 2022, the organic and natural cosmetics industry will meet again on the set date in February. The new sequence of days – Tuesday to Friday – from 2022 remains. After the one-time move together in the summer, the VIVANESS moves back to Hall 3C. “We are already looking forward to gathering the organic food and natural cosmetics community again on site in Nuremberg and offering a framework for innovation and transformation, impulses and networking! International trade visitors can look forward to the comprehensive offer of the approximately 2,700 exhibitors in 2023, 200 of them at VIVANESS!” says Danila Brunner, Head of BIOFACH and VIVANESS. Especially in today’s world, it is more important than ever to exchange and put together in person, to discuss together and to look ahead to pave the way for future topics. Paving the path together!”
With the main topic “Organic. Nutritional sovereignty. True prices.” the BIOFACH Congress offers a global knowledge platform for transformation. The topic is designed together with the international patron, IFOAM – Organics International, and the national ideal carrier BÖLW, Federation of Organic Food Industry. Urgent questions are focused: What contribution does organic make to food security and sovereignty? How can “true prices”, i.e. those that include ecological follow-up costs, pave the way for implementing the necessary transformation of the food and food industry?
The VIVANESS Congress with its comprehensive program and diverse sessions also offers the opportunity for discussion, exchange and knowledge transfer. In the various congress forums, eyes are focused on future topics.

In addition, the BioThesis research prize will also be awarded again, which has set itself the goal of inspiring and supporting young people for the organic industry.
Organic, plant-based nutrition is becoming increasingly important. Participants can see, smell and taste the product variety of exhibitors at the VEGAN adventure world, listen to impulse lectures and observe show chefs. After many years of good cooperation with ProVeg, the VEGAN 2023 adventure world will be launched for the first time with two new partners. Together with AöL and VegOrganic, it is filled with life and program.
Trend topics such as zero waste or sustainable packaging are taken up in the Unpackt offer area, which is designed together with the partner Unverpackt e.V.

At BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2023, participants can immerse themselves in the product variety of highly international exhibitors, expand their knowledge, network on site and exchange ideas in person. In addition, the digital addition of the trade fair duo 2023 once again offers the greatest possible added value.
