【DE】NEW: The BLADE Demo Area at IWA OutdoorClassics 2023

The specialist trade around the Messer segment and all other trade visitors to the IWA OutdoorClassic 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for hunting and shooting sports, outdoor equipment and safety, have every reason to rejoice: On the new special area, the BLADE Demo Area, knives, axes and saws are put in a new light. Live demonstrations, exhibitions and specialist lectures literally get their own stage for the first time and make the IWA OutdoorClassics a pioneer for an entire industry.

“With the new special show format in Hall 5, we want to put the segments around the cutlery more into the focus of our visitors,” explains Katharina Paul, manager and contact person for the exhibiting companies from Hall 5 of IWA OutdoorClassics. “The modernly designed area will score points with professional presentation technology and inviting seating – and thus invite both exhibitors and visitors to linger and network,” Paul continues. In doing so, IWA OutdoorClassics deliberately sets an example towards the exhibiting companies and expects positive responses: “First discussions show that manufacturers and manufacturers are happy about this new form of appreciation and attention. The interest in participating in the BLADE Demo Area on the part of exhibitors is high,” reports Paul.

The German Blade Museum Solingen is already sure to be there. With its own exhibit exhibition and contributions to the supporting program, the institution will participate in the new special exhibition area. “Such an area at one of the most renowned trade fairs in the world is a great opportunity for us to bring dealers and interested parties closer to the historical exhibits,” says Dr. Sixt Wetzler, Museum Director of the German Blade Museum. “It is nice to see that NürnbergMesse, as the organizer, enables such presentations,” he adds.

The BLADE Demo Area, which was held for the first time at IWA OutdoorClassics 2023, will also be a stage for the new IWA knife award “Between Tradition and Innovation.” Awarded by a jury of experts, the award is to become the award in the world of knives in the long term. “Visitors will also be able to select an award winner,” announces knife expert Christoph Daim and is firmly convinced that “the participation of the professional audience in the award is both a benefit for the participating companies and for the professional competition.”

Trade fair visitors can definitely look forward to this new highlight at IWA OutdoorClassics 2023. Interested parties can find information on the exact lecture program in good time before the IWA OutdoorClassics 2023 at www.iwa.info/programm. Tickets are also already available.
