The IDS, the leading international trade fair for the dental industry, will take place from the 14th to the 18th. March 2023 not only takes place for the fortieth time, the event also celebrates its 100th anniversary. Birthday. And industry participants around the world are now starting their visit planning to become a dental industry highlight. This also includes securing an early access ticket for the IDS 2023 and installing the IDS app on your smartphone. The ticket shop of IDS 2023 will be online in mid-December and will then be available to order tickets. All tickets for IDS 2023 can only be booked online and are issued personalized.

The ticket shop of the IDS – purchase the online ticket in just a few steps:

1. Registration, ticket purchase and payment

In the first step, the visitor calls up the following link: https://www.ids-cologne.de/die-messe/tickets/tickets-kaufen/. Here everyone can buy a ticket or redeem digital ticket codes. Before that, everyone must register for a new Koelnmesse account, through this process the user is guided. Trade fair visitors who are already registered with Koelnmesse can use their previous access data and purchase the IDS ticket directly. These personal access data of the Koelnmesse account are also valid for access to the trade fair app and the digital event platform IDSconnect. The following applies to new visitors: After registration, the IDS ticket can be purchased or the digital ticket code can be redeemed. Payment is processed via PayPal or credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express).

2. Download the IDS app

Only digital tickets are available for IDS 2023. The prerequisite for being able to use the digital ticket at the entrance is to download the IDS app on your smartphone, which is available in the App Store (IOS) or Play Store (Android) is available. As soon as the IDS ticket shop is online, the IDS app will be activated. After logging into the IDS app with the access data of the Koelnmesse account, the purchased ticket is automatically displayed in the ticket wallet of the app. The IDS app is of course free of charge and is available for download for iPhone/iPad and Android in German and English.

In addition to the access ticket to IDS 2023, the visitor will receive the free ticket in a separate e-mail. The ticket is also automatically displayed in the wallet on the IDS app. The ticket (2. Class) is valid for public transport in the extended network of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR). Excluded from this are trains of Deutsche Bahn AG subject to surcharge, such as IC/EC or ICE. The ticket entitles you to arrival and departure to visit IDS 2023 during the specified trade fair period. It is not transferable to other persons and is only valid in conjunction with a valid photo ID and the entrance ticket to IDS 2023.

3. Visiting the IDS 2023 and benefits of the IDS app

The IDS app not only manages tickets for trade fair admission and tickets for local public transport (VRS and VRR), it also offers all trade fair participants a variety of advantages – before, during and after the event. Already three months before the event, you can arrange conversations and meetings with other industry participants and networks via the scheduler in the app. And even months after the event, various content and networking options of the app are still available and enable successful trade fair follow-up.
