Hanover – The trend towards mobile travel is unbroken. Already in 2020, the number of new registrations of recreational vehicles exceeded the 100,000 mark, in 2021 there were exactly 106,138 new registrations. According to a study, around two million newcomers were added in the two pandemic years 2020 and 2021 alone. The growth of the camper community is mainly due to the wide range of leaner, smaller vans. That’s why “Caravaning & Camping” will face the special theme “Vanlife” in 2023.

“Caravaning & Camping” is all about mobile travel. Around 100 manufacturers and dealers present the latest caravan and motorhome models as well as tents, technology and accessories at the start of the season. Whether professional camper or beginner – “Caravaning & Camping” has something for every taste. The German Camping Club DCC Landesverband Niedersachsen guarantees first-class advice for first-time campers, and numerous camping places introduce themselves to visitors.

New this year: The “Vanlife” exhibition area, where artfully developed vans and new van models are presented. New exhibitors such as Salty Blue Camper, Neuländer Camper, Vickywood, Autohaus Kahle and many others will be there. In addition, there is a wide range of expansion accessories and of course a colorful infotainment program as well as a presentation of around 10 self-made vans from different brands. New this year is also the opportunity to participate in special courses in which you get important information and tools for self-assembly. In the hall there is also a stand-up paddling pool to try out as well as a beach bar with cool cocktails and snacks.
