Five stages and numerous hands-on areas – The supporting program of Europe’s largest hunting fair inspires again with novelties
The upcoming HUNT & DOG will take place from the 24th to the 29th. January 2023. In addition to attractive exhibitors and renowned program highlights, Europe’s largest hunting fair now offers even more concentrated know-how and exciting entertainment for all hunters, hunting enthusiasts, dog and nature lovers as well as families. These include, for example, regulars’ table discussions with industry representatives, the new Jäger-Herzblatt format and an exclusive club lounge for a relaxed exchange at the fair.
Dortmund – The popular JAGD & HUND will soon present many new things about the hunting world for young and old at Messe Dortmund. For the first time on five stages and numerous new action areas, lecture highlights, rousing stage acts and various hands-on actions are on the program. A first preview is already available:
Informative: Expert lectures with a wide variety of topics
For the first time, the magazine publisher Paul Parey is represented with a great lecture program. Hall 4, for example, deals with the topics “leaf hunting”, “irritating hunting for fox and raccoon”, “use of the hunting utility dog after the shot”, “safe resort”, “basics of water work” and “deer fights”. It will also be exciting on the new lecture stage in Hall 5. In addition to specialist articles by the well-known hunting duo ‘Teppe und Schwenen’, the ‘dlv – Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag’, ‘Jagdservice Franken’ and ‘VDB – Verband Deutscher Büchsenmacher’, photographer Jenny Figge will also assist visitors with know-how from Wednesday to Friday. She highlights what distinguishes hunting dog and dog photography from each other. Psychologist Claudia Breit deals with the contradictory topic “Love animals, kill animals – how do I deal with it on the last two days of the fair? Games, sports & fun: Participatory highlights 2023
Numerous activities to participate in and try out also attract hunting enthusiasts to the new lecture and event area in Hall 5 – whether scavenger hunt, Jäger-Herzblatt followed by a hunter single party or an award-winning competition organized by Teppe and Schwenen. The German Hirschrufer Championship will also be held again in Dortmund and will award the best imitators of tube in Hall 4.
