On three full days of the fair, the supporters of driving culture flocked to Nuremberg and met a German premiere.
At the crowning conclusion of the driving culture season 2022, dealers, connoisseurs and collectors were found from 02. to 4. December 2022 in the Noris and found a RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® peppered with top-class classics and exclusive special shows. Something was offered for everyone in Nuremberg – from “A” for Abarth to “M” for Manta to “Z” for Zastava.
The sixth edition of the scene platform, which is popular far beyond the borders of Franconia, became a great success, as a total of more than 20,000 visitors flocked to the four halls of NürnbergMesse on the three days of the fair, where not only the friends of analog classics got their money’s worth, but also the fans of virtual motorsport: ADAC SimRa
“The RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® 2022 has returned to old strength, my team and I were overwhelmed by the positive response. Nuremberg has shown that nothing can replace the direct, personal contact and experience at a classic face-to-face fair!” says Karl Ulrich Herrmann, Managing Director of Retro Messen GmbH and inventor of the RETRO CLASSICS© trade fairs for driving culture in Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
Full halls, a diversely interested audience and unique special shows shaped the sixth RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® 2022. And a world premiere: With the 1948 Talbot Lago T26 Cabriolet, dressed by the famous Parisian body Iakov Saoutchik, the Nuremberg classic dealer and classic car connoisseur Athanasios Liopiaris presented not only an optical dream in blue at the stand of his company Auto Center Süd (ACS), but also a testimony of the highest
And it was allowed to be celebrated, also here with a premiere: On Friday evening, the RETRO NIGHT® in Hall 7A traditionally rose from 18:00, where the cover band “4 at the club” ensured a good atmosphere. But really “the mail went off” with another premiere at RETRO NIGHT®: None other than the star of the TV competition “The Voice of Germany 2022, Leonie Karakaya, heated up the audience and presented her interpretations of well-known titles by PUR and Herbert Grönemeyer.
“Satisfied faces thank you” – in this sense, the exhibitors were also extremely positively surprised by the great audience response at RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® 2022: “Especially on Saturday, hell was really going on here, we were almost overrun. And we have already been able to sell one of six cars on Friday,” says Daniel Domlija, Managing Director of the Nuremberg company DEGO Motors. Dealer colleague Athanasios Liopiaris from the Auto Center Süd (ACS) in Nuremberg-Fischbach comments similarly: “The interested audience asks qualified questions, only selected quality counts, and I have some reservations in addition to a sold vehicle – very good!”
Classic dealer Ralf Reller, who came from Paderborn in East Westphalia and avowed fan of the RETRO CLASSICS© trade fairs for driving culture in Nuremberg and Stuttgart, also draws a positive conclusion: “In addition to long-standing regular customers, we always find highly interesting new customers here in Nuremberg who are interested in many ways and also buy like this: e.g. Everyday classics such as a Golf I or II with extremely low mileage and the resulting peak conditions, or a 2008 Artega GT sports car, which was only built 153 times. The mixture does it and the quality must be right.” This is also the credo of Simon Pühringer, dealer of exclusive super sports cars from Peuerbach in Upper Austria: “The RETRO CLASSICS© trade fairs in Stuttgart and Nuremberg are very important to us, because we can open up completely different customer groups with our NEO CLASSICS® specialties.”
“After the fair is before the fair:” in this sense, we may welcome you from 01. to 03. December 2023 to the 7th Welcome to the edition of the RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® in Nuremberg.
