After three days, on the 30th. November 2022 the first therapie MÜNCHEN – an event of the Leipziger Messe – has been successfully completed. At the new industry meeting for therapy and medical rehabilitation, 110 exhibitors showed the 3,200 trade visitors their new products, trends and services around the everyday therapeutic professional life of the remedy providers. The accompanying congress program was also very popular. The exhibition areas were framed by the extensive offer of the world’s leading trade fair for sports, ISPO Munich.

“We have succeeded excellently in establishing the successful concept of therapie LEIPZIG in southern Germany. With the proven mixture of innovative trade fair and top-class congress program, therapie MÜNCHEN has made a very good start. “The positive feedback on the exhibitor and visitor side confirmed to us that the industry has been waiting for a platform like therapie MÜNCHEN,” adds Birgit Mücklich, project director of therapie MÜNCHEN. “The German and Austrian visitors were enthusiastic about the quality of the trade fair, while our exhibitors appreciated the expertise of the visitors. An enrichment for us was also the parallelism with ISPO Munich, which will continue to create further opportunities for cooperation in the future.”

ISPO Munich is the world’s largest trade fair and source of inspiration for the global sports community, where the entire range of sports shoes, sports fashion and sporting goods is presented. Interested trade visitors to the leading trade fair used therapie MÜNCHEN to inform themselves and be inspired across industries.

Stage for professional policy issues

Under the premise of learning from each other, the professional associations addressed, among other things, the standing of physiotherapy in the respective health system, exchanged experiences in relation to academization and made future forecasts for physiotherapy. “We have been waiting for an event concept like that of therapie MÜNCHEN for a long time,” sums up Stefan Moritz, Managing Director of Physio Austria. “Our panel discussion and trade fair participation enabled us to exchange ideas with therapists from Austria and Germany and to make new contacts. We are already looking forward to the next event.”
