Bavaria’s Minister of Social Affairs Ulrike Scharf draws a positive balance at the conclusion of ConSozial: “This year’s motto “Think ecologically, act socially, sustainably strengthen cohesion” has hit the nerve of the times! ConSozial shows the entire breadth of our welfare state – which strengthens and connects us: We want to develop our social institutions and services in Bavaria sustainably and climate-neutrally. I would like to thank all employees in the social economy for their outstanding commitment. The 23rd Edition of ConSozial recorded a great success with over 4,400 visitors and thus an increase of 47 percent compared to the previous year. 214 exhibitors, the two-day ConSozial Congress and the accompanying KITA Congress revived the trade fair of the social economy. As a special highlight, the awarded Social Innovation Award, which this year went to the project “enna for digital participation in our society” inspired. The innovative product generates added value for people who have so far been excluded from digitization. It thus makes digital offers accessible to all people

More than 80 program items consisting of panel discussions, specialist lectures, best practices or workshops enriched this highlight of the social industry. ConSozial is the leading congress fair for specialists and executives in social policy, the social economy and social services in the German-speaking world. Every year, trade visitors to the exhibition center in Nuremberg inform themselves about the latest developments and trends in the social sector over two days. In parallel, the KITA Congress takes place, which addresses specialists and managers of daycare centers. The ConSozial is organized by the Bavarian Ministry of Social Affairs.
