【DE】HOGA Nuremberg: The gastronomy trade fair for the future of the industry

At HOGA Nuremberg, around 470 exhibitors provide offers, solutions, inspiration as well as products and food for the hotel industry, gastronomy and communal catering. From the 15th to the 17th January 2023, the industry of hosts will meet at Messe Nürnberg.

Nuremberg – restaurateurs and hoteliers are doers, trendsetters, pleasure and regional ambassadors, networkers, business economists, improvisation artists and planners and above all good hosts. As different as the industry is, so different are the offers of the 470 HOGA exhibitors, which are aimed at restaurateurs and hoteliers, but also those responsible in commercial kitchens, canteens, cafés, bakeries and butchers as well as bars, snack bars and food trucks. Visitors will find everything they need for their daily work and successful business development at HOGA.

Information, advice and personal exchange

Staff shortages, rising energy costs and low consumer mood as well as concerns about further corona-related losses and failures are just some of the challenges that the hospitality industry is currently facing. At the same time, it is important not to lose sight of goals – such as sustainability and regionality – and at the same time remain competitive. In addition to products, suppliers and service providers, HOGA also provides the opportunity for networking, personal exchange and shows solutions to problems for all areas of the hospitality industry. This includes new concepts and work structures, but also app and software solutions as well as technical innovations.

FOODSpecial for the first time on all three HOGA days

The professional sponsor of the fair is DEHOGA Bayern. The Service Association accompanies HOGA on all three days with the FOODSpecial trade fair, which is open to all HOGA visitors. Partners of HOGA, such as BÄKO Franken-Oberbayern Nord, the bund deutscher innenarchitekten bdia or the professional associations of the industry, shape the offer of the fair. The Entrepreneur Forum “Future Gastronomy” provides professional impulses for daily work and the “Culinary Food Stage” shows that modern cuisine is sustainable, creative and regional.

470 exhibitors: Food competence and individual solutions

The offer of HOGA 2023 is spread over three halls (3A, 4 and 4A) at Messe Nürnberg. Visitors will find offers in the topics of kitchen technology, home and operating technology, furnishings and equipment, services and organization, software and IT solutions, food and beverages. The roastery offers specialty coffees and the right machines and the Frankenwein wine shop shows wines from various winemakers. The HOGA Inspiration section shows offers around trend topics, such as Veg & Veggie or Meat & Fire. The topics of packaging and delivery as well as new approaches to more sustainability will also be presented at HOGA. At HOGAnovum, start-ups present their innovative products and solutions, including the more than 50 participants of the Gastro Innovation Award by HOGA Nuremberg.
