The first exhibitors are already there for construction – the final preparations for the JAGEN UND FISCHEN 2023 fair will be made at full steam, so that it can be said again on Friday: Tradition meets modernity!

A very special highlight will be the holding of the 2. International Southern German Championship in Casting. Beginners and professionals can compete with the fishing route when throwing precision – under the leadership of the State Fisheries Association of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, the winners in the disciplines of Arenberg and Skish are determined. Visitors can also try themselves out on Friday and Sunday and prove their ability to achieve their goal. In the fishing world, there are also daily demonstrations in the show kitchen for preparing fish; delicious fish dishes can be tasted directly in the Ortlfinger Fischerstüble.

There is also a lot to offer for families with children. There are free guided tours without registration on Saturday and Sunday at 11:15 and 13:30 through the adventure world hunting, and last but not least, numerous animals can be experienced on site:

The birdof prey flight show takes place daily at 2:00 p.m. on the outdoor area; the elegant hunters also present themselves within reach at the stand of the German Falcon Order and the Order of German Falconers.
The presentation of the hunting dogsalways takes place daily at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday also in the morning at 10:30 a.m.; in addition, earth dogs can be seen in action from Friday to Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The dogs can also be visited outside the show times in the adventure world hunting use dogs.
Numerous native fish and crab species can be admired in the aquariums of the Erlebniswelt Fischen.

There are numerous exciting lectures to be seen in both the Jäger- and Anglerforum, and of course the approximately 300 exhibitors show the expected 25,000 visitors the complete spectrum of their offer – some come up with special promotions. For example, interested parties can test the thermal imaging devices live at Carl Zeiss and even win them.
