Great joy at the New Year’s reception of the city of Nuremberg: As part of the annual kick-off event in the exhibition center, the two NürnbergMesse Managing Directors Prof. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann together with Anke Müller as Deputy Chairman of the Works Council, a donation from the trade fair company in the amount of 10,000 euros to Lord Mayor Marcus König and Elisabeth Ries, Speaker for Youth, Family and Social Affairs. The donation amount was collected by the works council and the trainees of NürnbergMesse at the two Christmas parties 2019 and 2022 within the staff and then rounded up again by the management of NürnbergMesse. Lord Mayor Marcus König: “Thank you very much for the generosity and kindness. The “winter of solidarity” is further proof that Nuremberg sticks together. With the new donation, we can take care of the people who need our support.”
Under the “Winter of Solidarity” quality seal, welfare associations are advertising support, for example for the Nuremberg Food Bank, the street ambulance or the Ecumenical Heating Room. In addition, on the platform available at www.nuernberg.de you will find many event offers from the fields of social affairs, culture or education, which cost nothing or little and which are open to everyone.
