Perimeter Protection, international trade fair for perimeter protection, fence technology and building security, starts today with the best registration status in its history. With around 200 exhibitors from 22 countries, around 7,500 m2 of exhibitor space and 50 percent internationality, the trade fair continues to be on the road to success. For the seventh time in a row, the exhibition halls in Nuremberg will now be available from the 17th to the 19th. January 2023 dedicated to video surveillance, access control, fence systems and building security. For the first time, it will take place in Halls 1 and 2 as well as the NCC in the middle of the exhibition center. The specialist forum offers numerous lectures with valuable tips and experiences on all three days of the fair. The U.T.SEC – Summit for Drones, Unmanned Technologies & Security was integrated into Perimeter Protection for the first time in 2023 as a special area. This year, the Nuremberg Security Conference is once again supplementing Perimeter Protection. Minister of State Joachim Herrmann takes over the patronage.
“The long wait has finally come to an end. We are very much looking forward to three highly exciting days, which are filled with numerous lectures, interesting novelties and intensive exchange at this year’s Perimeter Protection. The last few months have shown us how great the interest of the industry is after three years. With its clear focus on linking mechanical, electrical and electronic measures for intelligent outdoor and building protection, Perimeter Protection has developed a unique position in safety fairs, which is also attracted international attention. In addition to this year’s internationality of exhibitors, almost 29 percent of trade visitors came from abroad in 2020, to be exact, from 48 countries, from New Zealand to Canada, from Iceland to South Africa. Pre-registration also makes it clear that exhibitors can look forward to many trade visitors from abroad again in 2023.
Because during this term, we welcome almost 200 exhibitors from 22 countries. With our number of exhibitors, we have only narrowly missed the 200 mark. New are providers from Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan and the USA,” says Frank Venjakob, Head of Perimeter Protection.
More space for even more growth
The fair started in 2010 with only 60 exhibitors, 20 percent from abroad at that time. This year, the 99 international exhibitors are moving pari with exactly 50 percent. The area growth of 20 percent shows the positive development of the fair and once again exceeds the past record from 2020. The constantly rising growth course also caused the move from Hall 12 to Halls 1 and 2. This innovation makes the exhibitors’ desire for larger areas possible. This is also shown by the figures. Because: the international exhibitors in particular have more than doubled their area compared to 2020.
Successful together
“My special thanks go to our sponsoring association, the Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik and its managing director Kai-Uwe Grögor. The association not only brought the fair of its time to Nuremberg in 2010, but has also been firmly at our side since then. I think this close cooperation between industry and trade fair organizer is a great example of how trade fairs focused on the road to success in such a cooperation can be brought,” sums up Frank Venjakob in conclusion.
