【DE】BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2023: Hybrid into the trade fair future |

Experience BIOFACH and VIVANESS, i.e. benefit from the best of both worlds. This is successfully achieved by meaningfully combining digital possibilities with the on-site trade fair. Next time, the global organic food and natural cosmetics community will meet in the Nuremberg exhibition center from the 14th to the 17th. February 2023. Then the international trade visitors will be inspired by the offer of the expected 2,700 exhibitors from around 100 countries. And as little as the experience can be replaced with all senses, it has been optimally supplemented by the digital event platform since the unique Summer Edition in 2022. The future of the world’s leading trade fair for organic food and the International Trade Fair for Natural Cosmetics is hybrid. Added value: The advance planning of the trade fair visit with hall plan and offer overview, appointments on site and online, matchmaking and the digital availability of the congress beyond the event period. In addition to the desktop version, all contents and functions of the digital event platform are also available in the app.

Of the more than 24,000 trade visitors to the unique Summer Edition of BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2022, one in four also took advantage of the offer of the digital event platform. The majority of them as hybrid participants. They were on site, but used the platform in advance, on site and afterwards as a digital supplement.

How do I use the added value of the platform for BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2023 and what highlights await me – This is what we asked Dominik Dietz, in the BIOFACH team and VIVANESS responsible for the digital platform.

In a nutshell: what are the central added values of the digital event platform?

With the digital event platform, we offer the organic and natural cosmetics community the complete package and thus an “all-in-one offer” around BIOFACH and VIVANESS – from preparation to on-site use to follow-up and access to congress contributions afterwards. This means: a wide variety of functions from exhibitor and product search to appointment and agenda planning to numerous interaction options – digital, on-site and hybrid! The right feature is thus available for every need at the appropriate time of the fair (preparation) – and all this in an intuitive, modern platform solution including app!

Are there any innovations for 2023 – optimizations or “special features”?

Together with our partner talque, we are continuously working on both the optimization and establishment of new features in order to further advance the fusion of on-site, i.e. on-site, and digital added value. For 2023, exhibitors, visitors and media representatives can look forward to improvements in usability, such as a revised chat design or design optimizations in the area of personal participant profiles. As another “special”, the mobile app will be released in 2023 in BIOFACH / VIVANESS design.

Not to miss: What do I need to know and pay attention to in advance in order to get the most out of my performance or to visit the fair?

It is important to take time for the preparation and maintenance of the respective profile – both as an exhibitor for the company profiles and in general for the personal participant profiles. A detailed, tailor-made classification in the product search is an essential success factor for findability. This can be further enhanced by the extension of additional product profiles.

Careful care of personal matchmaking information is also important in order to find the appropriate suggestions and “best matches” when looking for contacts. Tip: Keep adjusting the profile and selection of search and bidding criteria in order to always find new matches!
