At the “5. Chemnitz Model Railway Days” on the 28th and 29th January 2023 at Messe Chemnitz there are fascinating model railway facilities to marvel at.
In 2023, small and large railway enthusiasts are again cordially invited to marvel at fascinating and interesting facilities in all gauges on over 850 square meters. Already on the 5th Times open on the 28th and 29th. January the doors of Hall 1 for all model railway enthusiasts. Together with the MEC Frankenberg/Sa e.V., the team of C3 Chemnitzer Veranstaltungszentren GmbH has developed the “Chemnitzer Modellbahntage” into an interesting platform for passionate hobby railway workers and many friends of small railways in recent years. More than 20 regional and supra-regional model railway clubs present their fascinating model railway systems of all gauges, including the MBC-Guben e.V. with a system for the famous classic “Jim Knopf”. With light, sound and sound effects, this system is an absolute eye-catcher and fun for young and old. About the MEC Frankenberg/Sa e.V.
Founded in March 1976 as AG 3/74 in the then German Model Railway Association of the GDR (DMV), the association belongs from the beginning to the Saxon Model Railway Association, the legal successor of the DMV. Over the years, several club-owned model railway facilities have been created, three of which currently still exist. These can also be experienced in operation at various exhibitions.
