Friedrichshafen – Strong cost increases, the change in the flow of goods in Europe and the general security of supply have a large and much-discussed impact on commercial fruit cultivation and the agricultural sector. With the opening of the 41st Lake Constance fruit growing days and the subsequent podium round are offered by the Fruchtwelt Bodensee from the 13th to the 15th. January 2023 an expert platform for the exchange of views. 310 exhibiting companies show a wide range of products in four exhibition halls, the Foyer East and West as well as in the outdoor area West. In addition to numerous innovations, the trend topics of the core fruit market, digitization and sustainability continue to come into focus. The highlights on trade fair Sunday are the lecture series on agri-photovoltaics and Brennertag.
The opening event on Friday, 13. January 2023, takes up the current challenges of rising operating costs and the changed market situation: In addition to State Secretary Sabine Kurtz, other representatives from associations, politics and marketing come together for a talk to report on solutions from their different perspectives. Helwig Schwartau from the Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) will also talk about the opportunities of the apple market in the 2023 marketing season on Saturday.
Further trends for agriculture, agricultural technology and distillation are also in the focus of the varied supporting program, the start-up area and the sustainable cultivation concepts. In Foyer West, twenty imaginative start-ups present themselves and inform visitors about the latest inventions in the fields of farm robotics, digital yield monitoring and autonomous field logistics, among other things. The Fruchtwelt Bodensee is the ideal international meeting place to exchange ideas personally on site and to combine practical expertise from the industry with scientific findings. Therefore, we are particularly pleased that we were able to win seven supra-regional universities as new initiators for the event for the first time, reports project manager Petra Rathgeber.

The Fruchtwelt Bodensee will take place from the 13th to the 15th.
