From 11th to 13th March 2023, the popular competition for young chefs “Next Chef Award” will take place at the leading international trade fair for hotels, gastronomy, bakeries and pastry shops. For this and for the renowned “INTERNORGA Future Prize”, which took place on the 10th. March, applications will be accepted until mid-January. INTERNORGA will take place from the 10th to the 14th. To the pots, get started – after a three-year break, celebrity chef Johann Lafer and INTERNORGA are looking for the “Next Chef” again together with the jury cast with star chefs. On three days, cooking will finally be held again in the Hamburg exhibition halls for the coveted “Next Chef Award”. Launched in 2016, the competition will also lure in 2023, in addition to the title, with its own cookbook, which will be published by Gräfe und Unzer Verlag. The deadline for submitting applications was 31. December 2022 to the 15th January 2023 extended.
Young cooking talents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can calculate opportunities. They must not be older than 26 years and must have completed vocational training. The training can have been completed in all gastronomic industries – such as restaurants, system and community gastronomy or catering.
