All models and providers at a click with the CMT vehicle search

Choosing a van, caravan or motorhome is never easy. With the vehicle search on the CMT website, caravanning fans can compare different models with each other. Simply select the vehicle type, set the desired parameters and browse through the vehicle selection. For touching and testing, there are then around 1200 recreational vehicles in a total of seven halls on the CMT.

Travel more sustainably with CMT

Green caravanning stands for consideration and ecological action. At the East Entrance, interested parties will find a lot of information and advice on sustainable travel by motorhome or caravan. Here, experts give tips on how to treat nature considerately, explain why quality seals are important and much more. In a networking event on Tuesday, 17. January, it is also about the topics of EU environmental labelling, electromobility and hydrogen drives.

Diverse supporting program takes you to foreign cultures and countries

On brochures and flyers, it is difficult to imagine what the holiday in an unknown country actually looks like. That’s why at CMT there is the opportunity to experience various holiday destinations live and in color – in the form of films and screenings. In the holiday cinema in the rooms of the ICS, interested parties can expect film reports with impressive travel and holiday impressions. On Friday, 20. January, the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) stops at the atrium stage in the East Entrance. Outdoor short films will be broadcast from 5.30 p.m. The film presentations of “Dream & Adventure” take visitors to Canada, South America and Southeast Asia. Entry-level models for caravanning newcomers

For the first time, there is a separate area at CMT for roof tent providers as well as for companies that present small caravans. Roof tents can be attached to almost any car and are therefore the new camping trend. At the entrance-east, various exhibitors show roof tents of different sizes and for every budget. If you don’t dare to use a large recreational vehicle yet, the gallery in Hall 1 is the right place for you. Small caravans, mini campers and teardrop trailers are presented here, which are also suitable for exciting adventures in rough terrain.

Parking, overnight stays, visiting the fair

If you arrive at CMT with a camper, motorhome or similar and would like to spend the night at the exhibition center, you can now buy a parking ticket online. There are pitches with and without electricity. More information on this website.

The CMT 2023

CMT, the world’s largest public fair for tourism and leisure, will take place from the 14th to the 22nd. January 2023 at the Stuttgart exhibition center. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; admission from 9 a.m. The holiday fair is supplemented by its daughters bicycle and hiking trips, golf and wellness trips as well as cruise and ship trips. The cycling and hiking trips will be extended to three days for the first time and includes Monday (14th to 16th to 16th in addition to the first CMT weekend. January). Premiere also for the international diving fair “Interdive”, which takes place on the second weekend (19th to 22nd January) will take place. In the caravanning area, the novelty show at the beginning of the season, more than 1000 vehicles from all well-known brands and manufacturers are waiting for visitors.
