Broad exhibition portfolio offers interesting insights / hands-on in advertising technology and wrapping

It will start in a few months – the wetec. Numerous national and international companies have registered to present their products and services at the international trade fair for advertising technology, digital printing, illuminated advertising and digital signage. wetec will take place from the 30th. March to 1. April 2023 as part of EXPO 4.0 in Stuttgart. The date for the industry meeting in spring 2023 in Hall 7 of Messe Stuttgart is getting closer and closer. Whether plotters, digital printers, illuminated letters or digital advertising and information systems, wetec maps the entire spectrum of advertising applications with its trade fair profile. Current new additions

Recently, Mimaki Deutschland GmbH, Mutoh Deutschland GmbH and Probo Print GmbH also confirmed their participation in order to present their products live. At the booth of Mimaki Deutschland GmbH, visitors can expect novelties such as the solvent printer (C)JV330-160, the cutting plotter CG-AR series and a large-format UV LED flatbed printer for industrial printing. In the Customer Gallery, the company shows real patterns of current customers. The goal: to inspire visitors and advise them directly. “Wetec has always been a lively trade fair, a nice meeting place with many new potential customers and existing customers. We wish for this liveliness, getting to know each other and reunion again again,” says Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director of Mimaki Deutschland GmbH. “As a machine manufacturer, we would like to use the trade fair to get an overall picture of the market trend.”


Mutoh Deutschland GmbH will exhibit its latest digital printing devices for direct printing, dye-sublimation printing as well as for sign and display applications. “The focus is on the current XpertJet Pro single and double-head printers for signs and displays as well as a new ink set for users looking for more sustainable printing solutions,” explains Frank Schenk, General Manager Sales at Mutoh Europe. For example, the company presents the double head printer XpertJet 1682SR Pro, which comes on the market with the pollutant-free MS51 ink set.


Probo Print GmbH is also present at the trade fair. The exhibition offer includes some new materials that cover, among other things, the topic of sustainability. “As a digital printer and producer for resellers, Probo is particularly proud to present itself at wetec,” reports Manuela Schaap, Managing Director of Probo Print GmbH. And adds: “We are very much looking forward to discovering in a personal conversation with potential partners how we can enable joint growth.”


TWI Wrap Paradise

For the first time, The Wrap Institute (TWI) will also be represented at wetec – including informative live demonstrations, participatory areas and exclusive interviews. In addition, the TWI organizes The Wrap Warrior Cutting Contest, where participants can win attractive prizes.

The TWI trade fair appearance is all about TWI Wrap Paradise. True to the motto “Never Stop Learning!” Experts share their knowledge about foiling. Visitors can expect a variety of learning stations. There is a practical workshop every morning. The focus is on advertising, color change, paint protection films (PPF) and design. This is the opportunity to benefit from the know-how of the TWI experts. At the TWI stand, among others, the bonding professionals Justin Pate, Rainer Lorz, Patrick Weiser and Maike Maurer will answer questions. So far, numerous well-known sponsors have already been won, including APA, Arlon, Avery Dennison, Fedrigoni, Yellotools and many more. Visitors can get to know the brands on site and exchange ideas directly with the representatives.


Exciting lectures

Experts in the specialist forum reveal which current trends and developments are currently occupying the industry and what potential results from them. On Thursday, the 30th March 2023, for example, the Sensape agency will give a lecture on “With AI, AR and WebAR to interactive brand experiences.” Sensapes AI-based solutions can react individually to users – in real time. The result is individually adapted customer journeys and immersive experiences to strengthen customer loyalty. In the lecture, the Leipzig-based company presents best practice examples. On the basis of various customer projects, it is explained how AI and AR have succeeded in addressing customers personally and how the campaign goal was thus achieved – whether at the POS, at trade fairs, events or on the smartphone of the users. Among the speakers is also the company Corel/Alludo – with a wide range of topics. The aim is to show advertising technicians how to make the most of the features of CorelDRAW. For example, there are lectures on the export and layout function as well as valuable tips and tricks for a more efficient workflow.


Exhibitor campaign launched

Even before the start of the fair, visitors can get an overview of the exhibition offer. As part of an exhibitor campaign, participating companies will be presented on wetec’s social media channels until the opening. They give insights into the trade fair portfolio in Stuttgart – before it is live again in March “we love to tec you!”

wetec takes place in the EXPO 4.0 trade fair network together with Europe’s leading trade fair for textile finishing and promotion TecStyle Visions as well as the advertising media fair GiveADays in exhibition halls 3, 5 and 7 of Messe Stuttgart. The international trade fair for advertising technology, digital printing, illuminated advertising and digital signage will take place on Thursday and Friday, the 30th and 31st. March 2023, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as on Saturday, 1. April 2023, open from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can reach the event via the west and east entrances. 6,700 parking spaces are available at the exhibition center. In addition, the adjacent airport parking spaces can be used. S-Bahn and subway stations at Stuttgart Airport are within walking distance.
