….. and the “Classic Forum” has been there for 19 years!

Since 2005, the “Classic Forum” has been held every year at boot in Düsseldorf. And for the 19th Male, the “Classic Forum” will present itself at the world’s largest trade fair for water sports. For the year 2023, around 728 square meters will be available in Hall 14 on the E20, F20 and H20 stand areas.

Again, various craft demonstrations will be shown at the versatile exhibition stand. That’s how it is

boat building with different activities,

the sailing trade,

the rope trade and the showing of knots (“FancyMen”),

wood sculpture,

model making,

Marine painting.

In addition, a total of at least 13 ships must be visited (“to be admired”):

Sailboat: dinghy, type “pirate” (about 1959),

Motorboat: Steamboat (2010),

Motorboat: Riva, type “Super Florida” (1958),

Motorboat: Snipa (from Sweden; with electric motor!) (last restored in 20021),

Inflatable boat (type: Viking “Freiboot 6”) (1983)

and a “mini-dinghy” (also to be used as a cradle or swing) (1994)

Of these, 7 additional boats come into the now already 10. “Private Maritime Auction” on 28.01.2023, which will take place from 11.00 a.m. at the “Classic Forum”.

Of course, many maritime objects worth seeing are also shown at the stand.

And the program on the stage of the “Classic Forum” is once again full of lectures, films, panel discussions and short courses. In addition, numerous maritime objects (including boats) will come under the hammer at the auction last Saturday. Just take a look at the PDF file “Stage Program” at www.classic-forum.org. – The auction catalog will be ready by the beginning of January 2023 at the latest, when all offered objects have been reported and found their place in the catalog. Of course, as every year, visitors are again supported by many comrades-in-arms of the “Classic Forum” with extraordinary professional competence if questions arise about ships, maritimes. In any case, no one has had to leave the stand so far without having received a solution to their problem.

Come to this stand, which can already be described as unique, in 2023 and enjoy the numerous historical, traditional and classic maritime offers. – A visit to the “Classic Forum” is always worthwhile! – We look forward to seeing you!
