Art Madrid-Contemporary Art Fair

Art Madrid opens the application period for its eighteenth edition from February 22 to 26, 2023 , during Art Week, at the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles. Galleries interested in participating may submit their applications until October 10. In a privileged location such as the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles, Art Madrid consolidates each year a greater number of loyal public (more than 20,000 visitors in each of its last five editions) and new buyers. A key mission for Art Madrid is to continue generating a market and promoting national and international collecting in the Madrid context of art week. The fair is characterized by being a close and open proposal to all audiences who want to know the reality of the world of contemporary art.

The general program of Art Madrid constitutes the heart of the fair and the sum total of all exhibitors, which ranges between 35 and 40 galleries (national and international) in each edition. The offer of galleries in Art Madrid is wide and varied, from young galleries to established galleries.

The collecting program is integrated into the fair with the commitment to continue building bridges to bring the public closer to contemporary art and promote collecting at a national and international level. Led by Ana Suárez Gisbert, Art Advisor, Art Madrid offers a free advice service for galleries and the public interested in acquiring works of art.

On the other hand, the Curated Program of Art Madrid returns . A living program as the common thread of the fair and in relation to its most immediate context curated by Natalia Alonso Arduengo , art critic and curator.
