EuroShop is the world's largest trade fair for retail investment requirements. Future-oriented and dynamic as the industry itself, the trade fair presents itself in eight fascinating retail dimensions with all the trends and topics that are moving the future. Held every three years in Düsseldorf, Germany, EuroShop is an innovation platform, discussion forum and creative hub for the entire retail sector. It is hailed as an important barometer and a worldwide indicator of future developments in the retail trade. Since its launch in 1966 EuroShop has proven to be a fantastic show in terms of visitor interest and conversion of its big buyer attendance.

EuroShop´s extensive line-up of exhibitor ranges is complemented by a range of high-impact sessions and forums with practitioners' lectures presented on all five exhibition days right amidst trade fair activities. These include the EuroShop Forum Architecture & Design, the EuroCIS Forum, the POPAI-Forum and the OmniChannel Forum as well as the ECOpark Forum and the new Expo & Event Forum. Digitalization in retail is one of the principal themes at EuroShop. Online retail is currently fuelling investment in physical stores in the sector. This is because competition from suppliers online means retailers have to make their stores ever more attractive. Physical stores and online retail are growing ever closer together. EuroShop has managed to bring both worlds together.

Retail lighting has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent years, thanks to the proliferation of LED technology. Great lighting can support retailers' efforts to improve impact, ambiance and sustainability thereby creating an inspiring atmosphere and a meaningful experience that goes beyond shopping while also saving on costs. EuroShop has a dedicated zone where independent light designers specializing in the retail sector inform attendees on how to address differentiate brands and create spaces that delight. EuroShop 2017 played host to some 200 international exhibitors from the lighting sector. They showcased their most recent developments, innovative and energy efficient solutions for product presentations in retail outlets.
